Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress who has appeared in both film and television. Her characters include Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Homefront, Earth 2 Armageddon. NCIS Flashpoint, Left Behind: World at War.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Joanna Noyes, an actress and Jan Steen, a director and actor. Steen is Dutch and Scottish descendance.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights activist and environmentalist, in addition to her business in entertainment. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is certified as a diver, and has learned a number of circus arts, like stilt-walking, fire-twirling, and stilt-walking.
